A Word from WANZIE ...

Rick (man magnet) Claggett
  - Watermark business manager, activist, friend, major homo, and WANZeGRAM subscriber - along with his longtime friend and roommate - Jen (always there when you need her) Kunsch - suddenly find themselves homeless. Seems the house near Downtown Orlando they were renting together was completely destroyed during Monday night’s thunder storm. A large tree fell on the home literally slicing it in two. Rick and Jen did not have renter’s insurance and just about all of their possessions were ruined. What items didn’t get damaged by falling debris were subsequently ruined by the continuing deluge of water that rained in everywhere.

Help Rick and Jen!

Jen was able to quickly save a few small electronics before being officially banished from the property but other than that she and Rick pretty much lost everything. The house was condemned so they are each now couch surfing at separate places with friends for the time being. It is their intention to continue living together in a new place, but obviously they are going to need a little assistance to get to the point where they can even consider setting up a new household completely from scratch.

So I hope those of you who know these fine folks personally, will join me at SIP this afternoon and give what you can.

We will report the results of this on line fundraising drive in next week’s gram, and we will put your name on a card to Rick and Jen when we present them with a check to help them re-establish their home.

Thank you for your consideration.

By the way - SIP is located in Orlando, at 724 Virginia Drive, in between Mills Avenue and Orange Avenue. It is in a little neighborhood curbside strip center on the south side of the street.

If you are a practicing Catholic, please consider taking the money you would normally put in the Sunday collection plate, and instead, give it to Rick and Jen. I give you my personal assurance not one cent of the money you give will be used to pay for covering up crimes, and I further assure you that neither Rick or Jen will be molest an Alter Boy.
